"Memos from Nanna" is a  Christian devotional featuring one memo each week, with related readings/journal questions for each day except for Sunday. "Memos" pages include plenty of room for your personal comments and notes.

When the time came for me to retire from public work, I began to pray and ask God for creativity and direction. Not only did I need to keep busy, but I needed to know how He wanted to use me for His glory. Also, I had struggled for some time with how to be an on-going source of strength and encouragement for my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We have four children, twelve grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. We don’t always get to interact with them as much as we would like to do. But, still I wanted to do all that I could to mentor them in such a way that they would stay strong in the Lord. We live in a world and a time when being a Christian is not always easy.

One of the ideas that God gave to me was to do "Memos From Nanna" - As I began to write them I quickly became aware that the idea would make a great “devotional book” as well – one that could serve as the basis for other grandmothers (fathers, mothers, grandfathers, aunt, uncles, and friends) to motivate, admonish, and encourage their loved ones and strengthen their own personal journey.

My prayer is that all who read or communicate these “memos” will be encouraged to stay strong in the Lord, and know the power of living by God's Words.
